review 1: Lexie is a kick ass werewolf who is hired by a wealthy vampire to protect a scientist he has hired to find a cure for his allergy to the sun. Many people including the fae do not want him to find this cure so his life is in danger. That's where Lexie comes in. She gets close to him by going to bed with him. But she begins to have real feelings for her geeky scientist. However, there is one problem he is human and she is a werewolf. I think the danger and suspense could have been drawn out more. However, this book was another humorous good quick read written by Eve Langlais.
review 2: Lexie is a dominate werewolf shifter that has taken up the role as hired bodyguard since she doesn't fit into the pack. Dominate males want submissive females, something she is not... more. She Fredrick (a Vampire) hires her to protect his coveted scientist by pretending to meet him & hook up as a means to stay close, why not the pay is good & she could always turn the lights off as a geek promises to be ugly... but should be able to "scratch her itch"Unfortunately, he's nice & cute but NOT a werewolf and defiantly in danger. I was surprised this wasn't a series with the "antidote" Anthony was working on, I thought more books after this would be interesting. less
