review 1: I like this series. What I like in this series is not something I expected to find? It's a sensual series, not in the sexiaul sense, but in spiritual, lifting your spirit and mind sense. The mystery is quite well written and the heroin, the real gem of the series is not something you find often in this kind of literature. She seems like a real person. She feels like a real person. She's not over confident, she's not perfect, she's not insanely brave. She really feels human. I gave it only three stars, because even though the plot has a good idea and is organised correctly there's no polish to it. It lacks finishing, attention to details. Also there are many side characters, but most of them are flat, 2D models of real people, but it's understandable. The plot is long enoug... moreh and convoluted enough not to add more turmoil by expanding on side characters. My verdict: Really good, but...
review 2: I LOVE this series. I'm finding that I wanna read more of the Yellowrock novels, when I have other books that I love too. They r beautifully written & her character is extremely interesting. I have Days of Gods & Monsters that was witing on w/ bated breath but I just wanna read the next Yellowrock book, even tho I have read the a chapter and a half of Gods & Monsters. Yellowrock is just a great character.Love Angie Baby & she already has a lot of juice, which we see toward the end. I hope we'll (the readers) will get to see Angie come into her own. less
