review 1: I really like it this stories. The author bring us to the legal world in a way that we understand and like. His stories of crimes more than explain us his trials show us how is humanity, they show us how is the human being and reminds us that before judging somebody for a crime you have to know their motives and also their story. There is always something behind that can make us change our minds. Is a really good book and I am looking forward to read other books of this author.
review 2: Das Buch enthält viele spannende nicht ganz so kurze Kurzgeschichten aus der Arbeit des Strafverteidigers Ferdinand von Schirach. Sie sind zum Teil sehr blutrünstig beschrieben. Manche bildreiche Ausschmückungen, die mit der eigentlichen Handlung nichts zu tun hatten, em... morepfand ich als nervend.Das Buch ist meines Erachtens trotzdem mehr als lesenswert.Das zweite Buch "Schuld" fand ich jedoch um Längen besser, aber es ist sehr schön zu sehen/lesen, dass ein sehr guter Autor seine Schreibkunst noch verbessern kann. less
