review 1: And another mediocre book for me.I cannot write long reviews for books that didn't quite hold my interest...Court was sweet, although a bit gloomy. Dane was fun, but I felt as though I barely knew him. Together they were okay. Romance didn't get me in my happy place. The sex was hot. Lots and lots of sex in the first half of this book.The other parts of the book were not really interesting. And the ending felt meh. 2,5 stars. It was ok, not worth a long review.
review 2: 3.5 stars.I loved the premise of this book, however felt it was a little cliche at times and could have done with less sex in the first half. The sex itself was well written and hot; it just got a bit boring after the nth time.The plot was fairly solid, though there were a couple of times durin... moreg the point-of-view/time changes that I had to pause a moment and work out where I was. Would liked to have learned more about where Court's powers came from also.Overall, it was enjoyable, and despite the cliches it was different enough from other paranormal romances to keep my interest. less
