review 1: I've said this before: I would like to live inside Francine LaSala's head for just one day."The Girl, The Gold Tooth and Everything" is one of those books that breaks the mold of sameness we see so often in books. Another reviewer used the word 'magical,' and I have to agree. This is a magical story that will keep you guessing through plot turns and surprises. It's quirky and fun and touching all together.Most importantly, it is well written. The author is brilliantly innovative, but particular with her words and phrases (the mark of a gifted author).Loved it through and through! Five big shiny stars!
review 2: The mystery regarding the identity of the protagonist was quite interesting. However i just don't get why all the dreams from her past all of a sudden h... moreappen too often and too quickly. Aside from the fact that she had the gold tooth and listened to the tapes, i couldn't see any connection with the dreams and the current life events. I was expecting too much from the antagonist as well, but turned out that it all ended too soon. less
