review 1: Grodd is my least favorite of the Rogue's, and that influenced how I enjoyed this. As a side, I hate that the CW Flash show keeps referencing Grodd. The 5 or 6 pages of Flash #15 that made one continuous piece of art was amazing. I love the layouts of this series, but would like more definition. Will continue on no question. The last issue of this collection with Barry without powers was the best, and it referenced Reverse Flash.
review 2: There was a little too much time spent on Grodd, who I don't really find that interesting. I suppose that's to be expected with the volume titled "Gorilla Warfare" but I could have done with less.The art was great as usual. Unique layouts and a great use of color.The story, however, fell flat for me. The whole thing felt like... more it had slowed down and was in a holding pattern waiting to really take off in the next volume with the storylines it seeded here. At least I hope that's the case.A perfectly okay entry in The Flash series but nothing that's got me excited in the way the first volume grabbed my interest. less
