review 1: This was actually fairly good. I haven't read many reviews on books --> mangas unlike the books --> movies that has taken the world by storm. I could see the mangas being rather popular and from there encouraging people to read the books. There is still quite a lot of sass & wit in these, and that's what I mainly read the books for. It was nice to see some of the imagined technologies in visual form.
review 2: This is a manga adaptation of book one in a series that I was kind of on the fence about weather or not I would continue reading. I liked the book but I wasn't in love with it, that is until now. Okay so maybe "love" is a strong word but I will say that I have a growing fondness for the series. I will pick up Vol 2 of the Manga Series and probably pick up... more the second Book as well. This series is going to end up in my top favorite guilty pleasures list for sure. less
