review 1: Another excellent book by the famous marriage author Gary Chapman. I always appreciate Chapman books and this book was no exception.He always presents key insight to improving ones marriage in a way that is very clear and speaks to the heart. This book was full to the brim of great examples and keen insight.I really appreciate what Mr. Chapman has done in championing for marriages and think this book would make a wonderful addition to any couple.I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
review 2: DH and I were fortunate enough to attend one of Dr. Chapman's marriage seminars last year. This book could be considered a companion piece to that seminar, although certainly one needn't have attended a seminar to benefit from reading the book.With a fir... morem foundation in scripture, the book offers practical advice on working through "typical" problems and challenges that often arise in even the best of marriages.Although my marriage is on firm footing, we still greatly benefited by reading this book and going through, together, the suggested exercises.It will remain in our library as a reference I'll find myself returning to over and over again, as the need arises. less
