review 1: This book is very practical and grounded. I would highly recommend it for any christian in pursuit of marriage whether in a relationship or not. This works as a sort of eye opener to the characteristics one should look for but it does it in a way that is simple, straightforward, and meaningful. Some issues are simply reminders, while some may change your way of thinking about marriage. Good read for sure!
review 2: I love this book! I'm still debating on giving it five stars. But I'm certain I will be handing this book to my future wife before we walk down the aisle. This book is packed with honest stories of situations in Christian marriages. The author didn't shy anyway with revealing some of the hidden facets of marriage. Some realities we often ignore until... more the excitement and fascination wears off, and the pains of life start pilling on. If the possibility of marriage is ever on your horizon, and/ or you just want to educate yourself of this topic, this book is a must read! less
