review 1: This was a fascinating story in that it pieced together some interesting speculation about the role that Joseph of Aramethia played after the death and resurrection of Jesus and the deaths of the Twelve Apostles. It also demonstrates the power of greed in the lives of people and the ends that they will take to acquire great wealth. The hero, Samuel Tolen, is just short of a super hero which makes the story less believable. It is the only short-coming in the story that included several surprises. It was a thriller that was at times hard to put down.
review 2: Just amazing! I really did love just about everything about this novel. I honestly can't believe that such a good novel is free on Amazon and NOT on the print best-seller list. The only things that
... more keep this from being a full five stars is the nearly painful repetition of the "gymnast" description of one character, and the reference to "Revelations" instead of "Revelation". Pretty minor things but they just really stood out for me. less

Very similar to Dan Brown's story lines, like Angels and Demons, Lost Symbol, Inferno.
