review 1: This book has been inspired from real life of the author. This focuses mainly on the protagonist Gauri and things happening in her life. There are lot of relationships in the book that includes family, her friends, boyfriend and more. Lacks engaging narration and I wish it had more humor. It gets boring after sometime, when more characters enter, and it might be hard to keep track of people, but this is definitely a great attempt. 3.25/5.
review 2: This book was supposed to be a (fictionalized) memoir of the author's life, however, it seems like the author didn't know how to begin.. She starts right from the beginning - with her birth n naming - n continues onward, although in snippets.. The entire first half is bearable, simply because of the author's sense of
... more humour. By the time you reach the middle of the book, the story starts to thicken n it actually feels like one is reading a memoir.. The overall impression was OK.. The author's writing style is engaging.. less
