review 1: I actually needed this book for an essay on superheroes and Chinese culture for a Chinese Relgions class. Not only was the artwork and story exciting, but it was educational as well with many references to Chinese mythology . It's nice to see the immigrant experience being dealt with so well in a superhero comic. I wish this was an ongoing series instead of one graphic novel. At least I can check out the rest of the Green Turtles adventures on the public domain.

They all agreed that it would be best to try and expand the dynasty in a new country. The Tortoise merges his spirit with a young man down on his luck. This young man became the father of the Green Turtle. The unique blend of humor and history really makes this book an enjoyable read. This would be an excellent book for reluctant readers and fans of graphic novels. less
