review 1: This was a great graphic-novel expanding the Avatar universe. I loved reading more about Zuko's past, and I really liked the twist in the end, although I guess I expected it. I really love the art in these Avatar graphic-novels, and I'm very pleased with how the characters are true to their versions on TV. They don't seem different at all. Instead, they feel very natural and I just love all of them.If there is one thing this graphic-novel lacks, it's Toph. It's too bad she is not around in this series, since she is always fun to have around.Overall, this was great, and I look forward to the other 2 parts in this series.
review 2: I really miss Aang and gang. I was talking to my wife about how I actually never laugh out loud when reading books. The Search mad... moree me almost laugh out loud - twice.This book delves into the mystery of Zuko's mother's disappearance. In telling the story, story kept jumping timelines from current time ... to when Zuko's mom became part of the royal family. Not my cup of tea but perhaps needed to tell the story. less
