review 1: A good read - the reader is drawn into the book almost immediately when the mother and daughter have an argument, the mother slaps the daughter and the daughter leaves the house. Mom's anger deflates immediately but then she and her husband begin the worry and wait period when the daughter fails to return after a few hours. The book is a long letter by Mom to her daughter and readers can really relate to the ups and downs living with a teenager and then almost the worst thing can happen. Very interesting read.
review 2: When I first began reading this book I had high expectations and was anxious to read this. After getting into the book I kept reading just to see what the outcome of the main event was. However I did not find the meat of the book to be of intere
... morest and found that the reason for the letters was not fully explained or made much sense. I have to say I wouldn't suggest this book unless you wanted a realization as to how much we really keep from our children about our childhood. This can be a bad thing and a good thing depending on yourself and your child. less

I really enjoyed this. And I liked the mother and daughter's names, same as my mom and I :)

Just thought it lacked much depth. Had higher expectations but it was okay.
