review 1: I liked this book the premise of this book and Lund's idea that how we react when faced with adversity really depends on our belief, understanding and faith in the Lord. People faced with the same challenges either feel comforted by God or they turn away from Him. And sometimes we just have to act in faith and it is all we can do just to keep moving forward and it is only in hindsight that we see the blessings and purposes "Devine Signatures" of our trials. For the most part scriptural based but with many personal stories. I wouldn't say this taught me anything I didn't know but sometimes it is nice to have a reminder.
review 2: Listened to this one to/from Riggins, ID to go river rafting with our youth group.I learned the three ingredients to faith. I like... mored that insight the best. There were also many good stories to emphasize certain points. I felt that the book was much longer than it needed to be. It was long. I also wasn't a fan of what I felt like was an attempt to coin a new 'mormonism': divine signatures. less
