review 1: This was such an interesting story. And the art work was incredible! The talent of these artists blow my mind. I can't wait to read the sequel. Basically, I believe around 34 children are born without any coitus occuring. Seven of them have powers, well one doesn't. And they try to save the world. They start as children, and by the end of the novel they are around their 30s? The individual powers are creative and interesting, a bit bloody if you don't like that it's not too much but some pages do have a lot. Twisted elements? yes. Like crazy eyes lol Really did enjoy this.
review 2: I loved this. The colours were magnificent! As a huge fan of My Chemical Romance, I have been wanting to read these for a while, and it did not disappoint. Gerard and the other writ... moreers and artists did a fantastic job. I loved the original ideas and drawings by Gerard himself at the end of the collection. The only reason I did not give this five stars was because I didn't connect to the characters as much as I would've liked, but this may just be because I am procrastinating from revision by reading this. Overall, a fantastically executed set of comics, and I will be definitely reading the next instalment! less
