review 1: Has this formula been done before? Sure. But not quite like this. Like Grant Morrisson says in the intro to this first volume: "it reads like the work of a veteran master of the form."Time travel, check; superheroes; check, villains who are bent on destroying the world, check. All this and more you find in the Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite. Very original ideas, great art and coloring. Different types of characters, each with their specific personality. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a different kind of superhero story. It's a good read, the story keeps you interested.

... moreioned the general premise to my dad he mentioned some other comics or something, that have a very similar idea. But I love the art work and when my ex was over he read this and the second volume back to back. And he is more up to date with the comic world than I am. But I am trying to get into it again now... And by that I mean just giving in and reading. If I re-read soon then I will update this AWFUL review! haha less
