review 1: Geronimo Stilton and the Peculiar Pumpkin Thief is so good that when you read it, you'll want to get the whole entire series! The author is Geronimo Stilton. In this story Geronimo wants to give Benjamin the best Halloween part ever! But all the pumpkins are stolen and Geronimo gets a letter from his friend Hercules that says, "Can you help me find the pumpkins?" Read the book to see what happens! My favorite part is when Trap shoots water onto the squirt ring because it was so funny! I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Get this book right now! If you do then you're going to want to get the entire series!
review 2: This installment in the Geronimo Stilton fiction series was a lot of fun to read. The chapters are short and descriptive, interesting words are... more highlighted in different colors and type styles. The illustrations added to the story. The story revolves around the mystery of who stole all the Halloween decorations days before Halloween, and who invited everyone in New Mouse City to the new Mouse Mystery Park for a Halloween celebration. In the back of the book are ideas for a Halloween party (decorations, recipes and crafts) There is also a short teaser for the next book, as well as a list of all the previous books, making it easier to read them in order. At the very end of the book are maps of New Mouse City and Mouse Island.I would recommend this to boys or girls in second grade and up looking for a fun beginning chapter book. less
