review 1: The Giant Diamond Robbery is a novel about a mouse who grandfather made him be his partner for a golf tournament. Someone was suspected to rob the trophey with the giant diamond. As Geronimo, the mouse, was playing the most weird things happened as if someone was cheating. Well someone was, it was a mouse dressed as a player and was cheating with remote controls for the golf balls. Fortunately Geronimo and his grandfather won.I pick up this booked because I haven't read one of this books for so long. Also because I'm very childish and I like books with pictures and colour and if there's no pictures, there a big chance that I wouldn't pick that certain book up.I finished this book because it was in the genre of mystery, which most of these books are, and I love mysteries bu... moret, in the middle it kept on repeating, and I really don't like books that repeat and repeat and repeat.I would reccommend this to Elly because in these books they have cheesy puns, and who doesn't like puns, which I think Elly would enjoy. Also some of the words would have weird fonts but they're cool so, it make the story more understandable and fun. Those word would be bold, bright and colourful which makes me think about Elly for some reason.
review 2: I didn’t really find this novel enjoyable to read. It was short and boring and the variety of fonts was off-putting. The book was about a mouse that had to play golf with his dad because his dad’s partner missed the plane, and Geronimo also had to go undercover while playing golf because someone was planning to steal the trophy. I do not recommend this book to anyone but kids aged from 7-10. Reading this book was a waste of my time, the experience of reading this novel was fun. The introduction of the book is strange, it always starts by Geronimo introducing himself. For a rating out of 10, I give the book a 3/10. less
