review 1: This was an amazing book! I am usually a very slow reader, but I read Auracle in 2 days. I simply couldn't put it down if I tried. It's my new favorite book. It would intrigue me more and more with each word. With the suspense of the murder I kept wondering what would happen next! I felt so close to the characters that I found myself scared for them and hoping for them. Even the slow developing romance between Rei and Anna was powerful. Each detail of how they bonded made me feel even closer to the story. Gina Rosati did an amazing job for her first novel! I simply fell in love with the "Magical, mystical, Auracle girl" !!!
review 2: Actual rating 3.5. I really enjoyed this book. Anna's inner dialogue had me laughing out loud at work. "let my people go" had me ... morein stitches! The reason I just couldn't give it a 4 rating, was I found the ending to be kind of unsatisfying. The build up of Anna's feelings for Rei, the knife incident, and the drama of Seth's legal and emotional woes deserved something a bit more epic, but I guess I can live with sweet and simple. less
