review 1: Well what can I say? I really really liked Billy and Me! It was this romantic, fluffy, angsty novel that had me turning the pages into the night. I really liked the writing and all of the characters, even though I found myself building some resentment towards Billy since the middle of the book, because seriously, how much of an idiot could he be?! However I did love him and was heartbroken when everything went down. I really liked the fact that with her writing Giovanna made me feel everything Sophie was feeling, every insecurity and fear, because come on, who wouldn't be disturbed in a situation like the one she was in? Specially with the kind of life she used to lead before him. And I also liked that it shows that the life famous people lead is not always like you think, ... morenothing is ever what it seems and there's a lot going on backstage that we don't know about. This is a really good story, with heart warming characters and I think that one of the most important things I learned while reading it is that you must have your own dreams, your own person, to try for the things you love and not abandon everything for someone else. Now, I really want to read Christmas with Billy and me, cause come on after that ending I really thing I need more of Billy/Sophie.
review 2: 'Billy and Me' tells of Sophie who unwittingly meets and falls in love with a famous film star; Billy. I read it wanting something light hearted and entertaining and this was certainly that. I found it a really enjoyable read and I raced through it. However the plot was extremely obvious, the secret that Sophie hides from her past and the twist in the plot with a hundred pages to go and the eventual ending, all of these was sadly very predictable. The characters were enjoyable to read and I enjoyed reading their story. The character of Molly and her sad outcome is another enjoyable side plot to the book and although sad it brought some depth to the book. Overall this is an enjoyable book just nothing spectacular. less

It was ok... I expected it to have a bit more depth but in the end it was just a bit blah...
