review 1: Before I read this book I had read a few reviews for it and some of them weren't very good, so when I started reading I didn't have a very high expectation of where this book would go. However I think the idea of this book and the way it is written is very interesting and quite a cool and original idea, and overall I really liked it! However at some parts it was quite hard to read with a lot of switching character and ages! Definitely worth reading!!
review 2: You're the one that I want: I have to say is one of the most girly books I have ever read. I was already a sucker for McFly, so when I found out Tom Fletchers WIFE was releasing her own book, I just HAD to get it. I did have high hopes for this book, as I'd heard it was good and there was no way I'd doub
... moret that. 'Tom Fletchers wife wrote it so it must be good, enough said' I thought. When I first started this book, I'll admit, I cringed. The first few chapters are incredibly cheesy and by chapter 6, I thought it really wasn't for me. I was debating putting it down and moving on to a different book, but I stuck at it, because it was Tom Fletchers wife..Although, the book improved. The way the book is written is in different points of views from three best friends at different ages as they grow up through life. It was only at the late teens, when I started taking an actual interest into the book. Where the drinking and the parties and the sex become involved. I did laugh, I did smile but I thought the storyline is quite tedious. It's the typical 'I like this girl but she has a boyfriend' and it stays that way all the way through. There's a few flings here and there and a bit of cheating, which was the only thing that gave interest to the book. I really wasn't too impressed with this read, the single thing that redeems it, is the fact that you never really can guess how its going to end. I couldn't anyway. By all means, pick this book up if you are the ultimate chicklit lover, but this was just too cringey for me and the storyline wasn't deep enough. less
