review 1: Although sometimes heavy on the anecdotal, this was a fun overview of all of living things that can kill us. It's not annotated and not extraordinarily detailed, but it does have a section for further, in-depth reading if you are inclined to learn more about the dangers lurking... well, everywhere. As someone fascinated by the threat posed by other creatures, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the mix of stories and facts.
review 2: The writing in the book of Deadly animals is strong because it is written in a strong way that just gives you the answer on the next, not reading the whole book to figure out how a problem is solved. The book of deadly animals was a decent book. It shows pictures of animal weaponry like 3 inch fangs and tusks as long as a man. I don't rec... moreommend this book to people who say gross every time they see roadkill. It contains some mature content like violence and gore. However it shows us that animals, are wild and some very dangerous and we should avoid and not harm animals. Overall I give this book two stars because it has great writing on a good plot but with bad content. less
