High Moor
review 1: This was a seriously entertaining read. Great characters, excellent plot (which is something of a weakness for most fantasy creature novels), kept me reading it for the whole day. It's the classic werewolf tale in the modern era, only without glamorizing it into an immortality/boundless wealth rubric. Being grounded in a grittier, middle class/working class level really brought something extra to the story.
review 2: I never read books about werewolves (more of a vampire girl, myself), but I was convinced by a friend that this one was worth a shot. I am really glad I took the time to read it. Very well done. Exciting, action packed, with a complex story and great character development, fans of this genre can't go wrong with High Moor. Even if you are like m

Good fun. I'm not totally sure what appeals to me about books like this, but I do quite enjoy them.

This book had some scary moments but not enough to keep my attention for long.
