review 1: Okay, how do I even start describing this book... I love it. I'm really surprised it's so unknown. More people should read this book. I remember deciding this is my favorite book for a short amount of time (until I read The Maze Runner). It's been a while since I read this book too, so I can't really remember my reaction when I finished it. I think it's really unique and we need more books like this one.
review 2: I've always been a fan of stories about ghosts and spirits and so this book was right up my alley. Overall, it's a really good book. It really is an interesting, creepy, eerie, spooky, freaky and also a bit scary story. Filled with great characters and an interesting story and murder mystery, it will keep you interested. There were some negatives, I f... moreound there were some holes in the story and certain aspects that were not quite explained, defined or detailed enough for me but I did still really like it. It does have a unique premise as far as ghosts, spirits and hauntings go that I did really love as well. Make sure to read Beyond if you are a fan of ghost stories. less
