review 1: I would rate this (4.5) because (obviously) it was a great read and (seriously) once you start it you are transfixed by the story. This was my first intro. to Greg F. Gifune's work. And indeed, what an impressive piece of work it was. I'm writing this a few days after finishing it just because I have the woeful disease of procrastination but with that said this novella just grabbed me from the get-go. I finished it easily in one setting. It's over quickly but the pure satisfaction of a well written story (as this is) will have some heavy staying power (as this does) once completed. Am looking forward to many more of Mr. Gifune's works and would highly recommend the same for all. Again; a truly great read.
review 2: I really enjoyed most of this story, but can't
... more give it a higher rating because I was too frustrated with the ending. It may have just caught me at a bad time because (normally) I enjoy being able to ponder the various conclusions that can be taken from the story. Was he really dead? Was SHE really dead? Was she wearing a bra? Was Will crazy? Did he really talk to Davey? I'm just too tired to try and figure it all out, tonight. less

Let me try and wrap my head around this novella. I may need to read it again. Wow.

I thought this story was good until the end. It just didn't do anything for me.
