This is an amazing solid 9ct gold 1970s designer ring set with a large domed cabochon amethyst. The rings shank is very detailed right the way around even the back of the band is detailed. The stone is fabulous and is a genuine stone, it may be a blue John but I think it is an amethyst. It does have some inclusions on the stone but it is a fabulous ring and looks great on.
It does have a makers mark and another hallmark and has been fully tested with an x-ray gun and is solid gold.
It is a size P and weighs a heavy 5 grams.
