review 1: The odd and reclusive Cutter Merlin as died, though listed as a heart attack, it looked to Liam Beckett as if Cutter had died of fright! Merlin had collected the odd and assorted, many had thought him a practitioner of the black arts though all that knew him knew better. Kelsey Donovan has moved far from Key West and all its dark memories, and now, now she is drawn back, back to bury her grandfather. review 2: Finished this one this morning. I enjoy these...keeps the reading light. Not earth shattering, but fun. Paranormal romance that's easy to swallow. Nice use of the core characters. Still having issues with the arched eyebrow, but all in all a minor gripe. My bigger gripe was all the main characters in this story missed the very obvious key...and not just the main characters...the dead characters that set the plot line up! Come on--creepy old mansion? What do all creepy old mansions have? If you don't know, got to Disney World and ride the Haunted Mansion attraction... less
