review 1: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.I am loving this werewolf - hybrid - hunter tale. Heather Hildenbrand made us love these characters from the first book, and unlike many other series, she keeps coming back with better surprises and intriguing twist and turns to this story that keeps us captivated and needing more.Blood Bond, the third book in the Dirty Blood series, is the book in which the characters grow and change the most. On the one hand, we have our precious protagonist Tara, desperately clinging to what she knows, unwilling to give into the changes happening within herself. On the other hand, we have our two equally stunning men, a werewolf and a hunter, fighting for her love and shaping and changing Tara's future.Then there is, Vi... morectoria, oh what would this series be without the love/hate feelings we have towards her? As for crazy, Astor brings a whole new meaning to that word and I adore his character, whilst George grows during the series, from friend, to boyfriend to friend again and then to... (Won't spoil that one, I guess you'll just have to read the book to find out)We have grandma, still driving that Hummer and kicking ass all over the show and mom still scrubbing away at every surface to ease her anxiety over her only daughter.Vera, who I thought was the evil snow queen, turns out to be such a warm and loving character that the reader's feelings toward her turns into fuzzy affection.In Blood Bond, Tara comes home from Wood Point Academy for the holidays. At first it appears as if all has returned to normal. Miles is dead and Alex has joined CHAS, while our favorite friend Cambria joins Tara for what we all expect would a fun filled break with no distractions from the preferred boyfriend/soulmate Wes. Boy oh boy was I mistaken!True to the series, this book is filled with even more suspense than the other two. No disappointment there!I have already started reading the next book (Blood Rule) and dreading the end because the fifth book has not yet been released. I just hope Hildenbrand keeps the books coming.4-BombsReviewed by Soreta
review 2: Heather Hildenbrand has got to be my new favorite author - at least for now. I love this series and just cannot get enough of it. It takes a really good book for me to say that I was up until 3 am reading because the book was just too good to put down!!!You have to make sure you read the other 2 books of the series before reading Blood Bond. They flow from one right into the next. From start to finish, this book had me memorized - as did the other 2 in the Dirty Blood series. Following Tara and Wes and the decisions that she has to make is amazing. The plot moves at the perfect pace - and you (the reader) will fall in love with the characters and think that you are there with them.Heather Hildenbrand is an amazing author.I was given a copy of this book for an honest review. less
