review 1: I've given this one an extra star just because it isn't a genre I normally read, ad I suspect that is influencing my rating. It was a free Kindle book. Young wife with shaky marriage is hired to design restaurant for former lover while husband is overseas for a month. Best friend hates the ex, and their friendship almost ends because he's back in the picture. The story was just too full of cute little coincidences, and undeveloped characters for my taste.
review 2: I'm afraid to say too much as it may reflect negatively on my character.Meet Candice whose relationship with her husband is challenged at the moment, due to a tragic accident. ... moreake over his most recent design project, which happens to mean working closely with her university boyfriend. They didn't have a bad relationship, just a really bad breakup. All the old fireworks between them seem to ignite and Candice is left wondering what to do with her future.Candice does make wise choices and left me feeling a little disappointed. That's why I think my character may be a little flawed. less
