review 1: I read this book in one sitting. Not because I was hooked, or wanted to know the end. This book reminded me of a poem that you have to reread and process a lot to understand. To start, she's normal girl in a normal life. Then, the book shifts on such a level. This is a book that I enjoyed but also found incredibly confusing and intriguing. This book got me thinking on so many levels that most books don't touch on. If you are ever looking for a different book to read on a rainy day, this is a great read.
review 2: Quite peculiar yet good. Kiri's struggles gives the readers a good example of how one's life could turn around when you found out that a loved one whom you thought died of natural causes actually was murdered. The way Kiri handled everything is quite g... moreood for a young girl, though she may have gone astray in some ways she still dealt with everything very maturely and it's good to see that kind of maturity in a young character like her. Hilary T. Smith did a great job on the ending. I find the closure she gave Kiri very brilliant. less
