review 1: This was my first full length novel from Ms Ramsey and I really enjoyed it! I had picked up one of her novellas for Christmas and it introduced me to Last Chance and I wanted to read more about it so I grabbed Last Chance Christmas. I love small town stories anyway but the "mystery" of this story really interested me. I couldn't wait to get to the end to see the whos and whys of everything! A fun holiday read that has got me hooked! I will definitely be visiting Last Chance again!
review 2: I won this book from Good Reads and was delighted. I had originally planned to read this in the series order, as I had the first 4 books. I opted to read it out of order, though it's clearly part of a series. It can stand on its own. The writing has a light breezy manner, th... moreough it was dealing with some serious issues. That's not to say Ms Ramsey glossed over the seriousness of the isssues. She didn't. She has well developed characters, a good sense of timing and tension, and a deft touch with dialogue. I enjoyed the storyline and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. It made me wish 'Last Chance' actually existed, so I could meet some of the characters. less
