review 1: I enjoyed this, and would have probably given it another star if it'd been an actual book and not a novella. I'm not into short stories, especially when they exist to sell the *actual* series (not sure if that's the case here.) Well written and interesting main character, though. I liked the fact that she had her own passion (with helping ghosts), and wasn't too scared to pursue it or worried about being odd.
review 2: Another Samhain novella that reads like a set up for a novel or a series. I have never read Hunter Shea prior to this, so I can't be sure to what extent this work showcases his talent, but as far as introductions go, this wasn't particularly impressive. Teenage lottery winner with unexplained paranormal powers who tries to put a ghost to rest,
... more which had her sneaking around the graveyard and doing some minor investigative work. Decently written, but neither original nor memorable. At least it was a quick read. less

This was an alright read. Kind of boring at times but a fast one. Nothing really special about it.

Not bad for a short story.Would be a good episode for a tv show.
