Don’t Miss Suzanne Enoch’s Newest Historical Fiction Romance, Coming 1/30/18!
Callum was heartbroken; his childhood friend, Rebecca, the one, he assumed would always be his, was marrying Ian, his responsible brother. It was true that Callum had spent most of his time, inebriated, and flirting with loose women, but when his friend accepted his brother’s marriage proposal, Callum realized the depth of his feelings for Rebecca. Callum’s reaction, he admits was extreme, and what he did, very wrong. But did his brother have to ban him from the family? The truth of it was; apparently, he did, because that was what it took, for Callum to turn his life around.
After spending ten years in America, Callum was a changed man. Although he never forgot Rebecca, he wanted to. He tried to hate her, but couldn’t. However, if Callum discovered that Rebecca had anything to do with his brother’s death, hating her would be easy. She would pay, just like anyone who had a hand in his brother’s murder. And murder is what it was. Callum was sure of it. When Callum returned to Scotland, to avenge his brother’s death, his stone heart began to soften. Margaret, the niece he had never met, won his heart over the moment she spoke with him. She was beautiful and innocent and his brother’s daughter. Rebecca, however, was another story. He didn’t care where she went or whom she married; just as long as she was aware that she wouldn’t be taking her daughter with her. No, Margaret was staying with him. He was her guardian now.
As Callum dug for information about his brother’s death, his enemies became nervous. Rebecca was torn; should she side with Callum who had Margaret under his roof, or with the people she had trusted for years, but whom Callum felt murdered her late husband?
A Devil in Scotland is the third book in the intriguing Suzanne Enoch’s No Ordinary Hero’s series. I found the book engaging, the storyline captivating, and the dialogue realistic. A Devil in Scotland is an enjoyable read.

A lifelong lover of books, Suzanne Enoch has been writing them since she learned to read. She is the author of two well-received traditional Regencies, 24 and counting England-set Historical Romances, four contemporary Romantic Suspense novels, and a growing number of Scottish Highlands Historical Romances including the October 2016 release of HERO IN THE HIGHLANDS (Book One in the No Ordinary Hero trilogy).
A native and current resident of Southern California, Suzanne lives with a green parakeet named Kermit, some very chirpy finches, and a small army of Star Wars figures (including a life-size Yoda). Her books regularly appear on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, and when she’s not busily working on her next book or staging fights with action figures, she likes to read, play video games, and go to the movies with her large and supportive village.
