review 1: This is the second book I have read by Inara Scott and it was just as awesome as the first!! This book I started in the evening and did not move till I was done. From page one to the last I loved this book. Two people that come from different worlds collide and the chemistry between Kelsey and Ross is unstoppable. They both had to over obstacles of letting go and letting love lead the way. I received this ARC book from publishing company for a honest review.
review 2: This is the second book that I’ve read by Inara Scott, and it seems a bit absurd and impossible to me that she’s writing two very different genres. The Talents (previously known as the Candidates) was more fantasy-oriented while Falling for Mr. Wrong was more romance and adult. It’s just so ... moreweird for me for an author to be writing two very different genres.But anyway, I adore this book. Everything was just so exciting to me, especially when it became apparent that the protagonists’ attraction wasn’t going away any time soon. I enjoyed seeing them struggle through their complicated relationship, and becoming better, stronger people for it.I expected a lot from the ending, especially since Kelsey and Ross’ situation was quite unusual, but all I got from it was childish banter that was quick and not very touching. It’s an overall sweet story, but the ending fell a little short.There were also a bunch of stuff I didn’t want to read about and it felt so long to me even though it probably only lasted 5 pages. Said stuff felt unnecessary to me, and didn’t really give much to plot development. Perhaps if the story was longer, more plotted out, and more complicated and diverse, these “unnecessary things” might have proved useful, but seeing as the story wasn’t any of those things, the imminent conclusion was just drawn out a bit farther. less
