review 1: I don't know how I feel about this. Again.1. The beginning was annoying, it was all about "scent, scenting" and oh, did I mention SCENT???!2. Then it was really enjoyable, I liked the idea of a lonely, good guy living in the middle of nowhere, fighting with his wolf instincts and then suddenly finding a poor, injured guy. I like the idea of taking this hiker to his cabin and I even understood his cravings to mate and claim. 3. BUT WHY WAS HE ACTING THE WAY HE WAS? It is said, he became a beast which means he wasn't born a werewolf - so WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM? there's not a single word about it.4. He can't control himself so he left Leo and went to the old, hidden building and chained himself to protect his guest. He turned into wolf and he forgot everything, he wasn't thinki... moreng normally and I SERIOUSLY PREFER IDEA OF WEREWOLVES CHANGING INTO WOLVES AND BACK WHEN THEY WANT TO AND BEING ABLE TO USE THEIR BRAIN ALL THE TIME.5. and then, guess what, Leo feels the urge to rescue him. Injured Leo, that is not able to walk without crutches goes into wood, in the middle of the night! ABSOLUTELY FRICKING REASONABLE!6. Leo does NOT feel scared or surprised that the "dog" hi found turned into a man, what is more, he is turned on and they have "hot" sex while Kirk still wasn't capable of normal human thinking.It started annoyingly, it turned to sth quite nice and then it became STUPID.
review 2: Not a bad book.Was disappointed that it ended with such a cliff hanger. There was good chemistry between the two mcs but to end the book like it dissent to my taste. Think the 2nd book could have joined this it seemed the ending was written just to get you to buy the next book.I won't be doing that straight away I might in the future as I am intrigued by this series. Like how did he become a werewolf, what's going to happen to Leo etc less
