review 1: I really liked the book at first, there was a dreamlike quality to it. They both dream about hot nights with each other, they know they are meant for each other, they know they are real, but just out of reach. "For a long time, Alec allowed his fantasies to be just that. Fantasies. Of a woman he'd never seen or met. He searched for her the older he got because deep in his gut, he knew she was the one for him. But how to find her in the world was impossible."The sex scenes weren't terribly hot, but it suited the dreamlike story - I wouldn't use the word oniric, because it wasn't that poetic ! It was romantic, just like the idea of two people only dreaming of one another could be.But the book didn't reach the 4 fires because of the ending, it went much too fast into reality ... morein my opinion. Talking with a person you just met about marriage and children ? Nah ! If you take it as a purely romantic story, then people who like fluff and HEA will probably like it. For me, the romance is what occurs before the wedding and especially before babies keep you awake all night while you have to go to work the next day ! See what I mean ?Anyway, it was a nice read :)Oh, and if by any chance you have the opportunity to travel to Scotland, visit Edinburgh, it's a really beautiful, historical and delightful city ! I dream of going back there someday.
review 2: What a hot erotic steaming read. The story is about Alec and Tamsyn, sense they are meant to be together but have never met. Yet their passion for one another is in their dreams. Loved the story was set between England and Edinburgh, being one of my favourite destination. This book is well written and I will recommend it. A fantastic first book from Isobelle Cate and look forward to many future reads from her. less
