review 1: I read this mysterious book in bend anthology so I get a copy of book two and three. While reading this book it bothers me so much it's very confusing it annoyed me that I wanted to rip every pages. The characters are like battling to there self they have alter egos that almost eaten them up. The heroine and hero of the story are sick and I appreciate that the author manage to make their conscience win at the end. There's to many characters but they don't have their own story. There's this one character or lemme say two but they died with no further explanation. I'm looking forward to read of nick and Sasha's story because I love nick Tate not Sasha she's so annoying and very wild. I hope that the story gets better please please make it a better book ... moretime.
review 2: I've been asking myself some questions since I started reading this series, like:Is it normal to love an assasin? Will it make you twisted if you do? Well, I don't really care, I guess, because I freaking love James!Isn't it appropriate to expect a 13- year old girl to consume their time thinking about their crushes, the latest boy band, or how school cafeteria sucks? But if, instead, they got entangled in crimes and twisted mind games and became a sharpshooter, then they should at the very least be institutionalized? Again, I guess I don't care, because I'm crazy about Sasha!Harper was a contradiction. She was considered dangerous, yet she felt weak. On the outside, she was a fighter coz she was conditioned that way. But on the inside, she was frail. She wasn't as hardcore as James or Sasha, but that didn't make her irrelevant. She had a special place and role in all the mess too. All the characters here had specific purpose, part of the equation. Remove one and the story would crumble. As expected, this book had even more twists than Come Back that I felt I would have a whiplash! Honestly, I have no words to describe the intricacy of the storyline. Just when I thought I figured it out, the next chapter presented me with another bombshell. It was a carefully thought-out plot, the revelations well- executed, and in true Julie Huss fashion, a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. less
