review 1: Suckers by Jeff Strand and JA Konrath brings together two authors who are infamous for their mix of humor and horror to tell tales of each writer's most bumbling and laughworthy character. In the title story, Andrew Mayhem takes a trip to the store for pasta sauce and gets mixed up in Harry Glade's infiltration of a cult of wannabe vampires. Included in this volume, however, are three Konrath Glade shorts and three Strand Mayhem tales, plus an interview between the two authors. You can download the book for free here. Not the type of horror or writing I typically seek out, but I am a fan of each of the collaborating authors' more serious works, and I did get quite a few chuckles out of every story in the book. These two clowns were born to write together, if you as... morek me.
review 2: I started this one while waiting at the Dr. today and I started giggling immediately after starting the first story. Glad I was not at a psychiatrist's office or I might have some explaining to do. This is a collection of Harry McGlade and Andrew Mayhem stories and they are pretty good. A couple of them I had read before in another collection but I still enjoyed them. Some days I just really need something to read that is completely perverse and weird and gross and funny. This met all those requirements perfectly. Definitely not stories for people who have boundary issues or can't take the subject matter. I loved it. less

Very entertaining book. Requires a sense of humor to enjoy but very good none the less.
