review 1: Thoroughly enjoyed going through this Study Bible last year. I loved the book intro's, "Word Wealth," "Kingdom Dynamics'" and "Truth in Action" at the end of the books. All the added info really makes for a deep and fulfilling read of the Scriptures. I had the original Spirit Filled Life Study Bible when I was in High School, but lost it in a move during Flight School. I bought this updated version a couple years ago after trying to switch to the old KJV and also getting an NIV. For some reason this particular NKJV Bible connects with me in a different way, and I'd recommend everyone search to find a Bible they can have a sort of "connection" with. It is indeed priceless!
review 2: I got this Bible as a graduation present at my Church. At first, because of how ... morenew and wonderful it was, I didn't even want to use it. Also because it's not a pocket Bible so it is rather large and has a soft cover so a Bible cover type deal wouldn't help much, I don't believe. (Mine is brown, not black)Then I realized I was being an idiot and I've been underlining and highlighting a lot. It's very insightful and has many in-depth explanations of scriptures that a regular NKJV Bible doesn't. I love it. I love new books and I especially love the Bible. less
