review 1: 41/2 starsThis is the third book in the Provincetown Series, and Jacob Flores changed it up a bit and wrote a very intimate book, yet with less sex and more character building. When ‘The Bears’ come to Provincetown for a week of sex, drinking and catching up with friends, Mr. Perfection Model Nino Santos stays home and waits for the Twink Train to arrive in seven days. Imagine his surprise when friend Gary who we know and love so well, asks Nino to come down to the beach for a party and Nino awakens the next morning with a hairy, snoring man in his bed. Horrified, Nino wakes a man called Teddy, who is horrified he has woken in a “Twinks” bed. It is hate at first site. This adorable fun story gives us a view of many of the ‘regulars’ who we have met, who are sur... morerounding the story of Nino and Teddy. I cannot say enough of Mr. Flores giving the reader lessons in “Mean girls” spirit as this community has a class system and judges them accordingly. The Bears are regular Joes, who might not be runway ready, and who chose not to wax and tweeze and diet and who Nino learns are fun to be around not what he had envisioned. Teddy learns what he wanted for the last ten years, when finally offered, was not what he wanted after all….Cannot wait to read the next in the series When Love comes to Town. review 2: This is a book about a couple of perpetual victims who we're supposed to feel sorry for. They also seem to have never learned the word "dog," and so proceed to call the dog a handsome boy over and over and over again. Basically, these are people with no personality other than what we're told, and it's difficult to feel anything but annoyance towards them.Suffice it to say, I didn't like this book and I wouldn't read it, but if you think you'll be into it, go ahead. less

Kind of silly and I'm guessing implausible....and a cute, quick bit of fluff reading.
