review 1: I'm going to run with a 3.5 on this book. It's a heart wrenching story, I like the characters and the plot. But I'm not completely sold on the major twist that's introduced about 2/3rds through. In my eyes, this was a pretty huge turning point in the story but I feel the reveal and acceptance by the characters was a little too casual. "Oh, hey guys....by the way" followed by "you are? Huh. Ok, let's move on". I don't want my review to turn anyone away from the series. I like it enough to move on to book. It's definitely worth reading.
review 2: I flat out love End of the World by Disease books but I was so disappointed with this one. The ending was flat out horrible and I didn't really like the part leading up to the end either, the SPOILER ALERT time
... more travel thing really threw me off and the part about the daughter was sad, then she came back as one of them and I flat out hated it, I know this sounds bad but I think I would have liked it better if she had died at the jail then at the top of the hospital with her mom. less

Another good post-apocalyptic novel by this author. I'll definitely read more of hers in this genre.

Slightly weird zombie (+ time travel) novel... not quite sure what to make of it.
