That must be hard on him.I'm hooked with all the research, seriously. THE CHARACTER BACKGROUND IS TRUE & THE SETTING IS LONDON ; ONE OF MY FAV PLACE ON EARTH.AND YES, I can already imagine myself being in the epoch of Elizabeth I. review 2: I am a history major, and I enjoy fiction set in Elizabethan times. For a free book, this one wasn't bad, and there were many accurate historical details. The problem with writing a mystery about the possible overthrow of a major historical figure is that the reader already know what happened in history. Therefore, although t... morehe crescendo of action kept me very interested, the resolution was very flat. I noticed this is the first in a series (usually free books are), so I may give the second a try. less
