review 1: There are four books in this series. I read all four one after the other this helped to with the story line. It's about a young girl who is an enchanted , using runes, lore and magic are a way of life, o e with her brother who becomes a bladesinger fight a war with other nations. An everman release and wants to take over the rule of all the nations. These books keep you on your toes, a lot of twist and turns, it sent my imagination wild. I am surprised no one has made a film of this.
review 2: I quite enjoyed this and am looking forward to the next. My only complaint: (Small rant coming.)When will authors learn that there's no need to write cliffhangers and then switch to another character's story. It doesn't make me want to continue reading; it just ticks me ... moreoff. I end up thinking about that character I just finished reading about rather than the one the author is currently writing about. In short, if you write well, I will read your book. You don't need to trick me into it. less
