review 1: NYPD Red 2,GARBAGE!! I was very disappointed with the authors of this book. There wasn't much action in any of the chapters. Perhaps the book got better, but I refused to force myself to read any further after dragging myself through a quarter of it.From what I can remember a mobster raped a boys sister and the boy kills the mobster for revenge. The boy and his sister aren't mentioned again until several chapters, and years later. The boy is a vigilante the next time he's mentioned. It took me a while to figure out the time line change.It was a very slow paced book with dry metaphors. I found it extremely hard to stay awake while reading the book. I recommend it to anyone that has insomnia.I'm a little upset about the time I wasted; hoping the book would get better. I wou... moreld like a refund. GARBAGE!!Erik Smalls
review 2: I picked this up as I needed to read it for the next part of my reading challenge I am doing. Plus I wanted to know more on the new series I am starting.Well, it started off weird as I was like who are these characters and what have they got to do with the storyline. As the story progressed, it got more interesting and I thought I had the whole book sussed from about nearly a 1/4 way through the book. Well I got to 3/4 way through and I was like WHOA! I never saw that coming as I thought it was already sorted. I am so glad I got to read this book today and LOVED EVERY SINGLE SUSPENSEFUL MINUTE less
