review 1: A walk down the aisle, a resort hotel, a drink on the beach...for these unlucky couples, the honeymoon's over. A newlywed couple steps into the sauna in their deluxe honeymoon suite--and never steps out again. When another couple is killed while boarding their honeymoon flight to Rome, it becomes clear that someone is targeting honeymooners, and it's anyone's guess which happy couple is next on the list.FBI Agent John O'Hara is deep into solving the case, while Special Agent Sarah Brubaker is hunting another ingenious serial killer, whose victims all have one chilling thing in common. As wedding hysteria rises to a frightening new level, John and Sarah work ever more closely together in a frantic attempt to decipher the logic behind two rampages. SECOND HONEYMOON is James ... morePatterson's most mesmerizing, most exciting, and most surprising thriller ever.Another great read!
review 2: James Patterson and I have a love hate relationship, I either love the book and can't stop telling people to read it or I hate the book and wish I could get those wasted hours of my life back. This book was a hate it book. It started out strong, plot development, character point of views, great dialogue etc but then about halfway through I got bored and the author(s) got lazy. There were too many subplots going on, two serial killers "The John O'Hara Killer" and the "Honeymoon Killer" turned out to be too much for the authors to pull off. It began to get very hokey and unrealistic. Halfway through they lost me because the authors slapdashed the book together with a meandering story that (it felt to me) they really didn't know how to finish. It became cheese in the cheesiest of ways and I found myself skimming (and skipping) whole chapters just to finish it off.I would say save your money and spend it on a different Patterson book, maybe one where he actually wrote it and didn't just hire out his name for the cover, although those are getting to be hard to find of late. less

Two authors, two serial killers, one main character involved with them all. Humor, family, intrigue, romance, danger, mystery... Everything that makes a good story. But a comment: when top notch FBI agent John O'Hara needs to figure out what a particular Bible verse is in a hurry, he searches his house for his wife's Bible. How could he not know that typing the book, chapter & verse into google will give you that verse in every translation known to man?
