Billy Boyle World War II
review 1: Starts out with Billy suffering from amnesia and engaging in front line combat with Tiger tanks. We soon are on a quest to find out what he was doing and it's non-stop action as Billy is not only fighting the Germans but the Mafia in US uniforms as well as in the general population. A very different and enjoyable spy/crime mystery in a military background. We meet some new characters who might end up joining Kaz and Billy in the HQ too. Billy absorbs a lot of injuries in this one but luckily he has his own doctor looking after him. Enjoyed the twists and turns in this one. I will be sad when the war ends and Billy has to go back to Boston.
review 2: Billy Boyle's formerBoston PD detective job again helps him out in his latest case as a 2nd lt during WWII, this
... moretime during the invasion of Sicily. Boyle goes through an epiphany of sorts, as he loses his memory after a scuffle with the enemy and wakes up in a field hospital, unsure of who he is and what his mission could be. Old faces from home, a meeting with Uncle Ike, memories of Diana all surface and aid Billy in recovering his mission. less
