review 1: I think this was my favorite one thus far. I loved Knox since he his first appearence in the first book and I always found myself thinking how his story would play out. Diamond was the bullseye for him in the romance and sex department and they made things incredibly hot and hotter yet. Everytime they were together made me think how the author was going to surpass that situation and then I shut up in the next scene. The plot was a little different from the other two previous books, but it still is a little repetitive. Though this time I found the dialogue to be much more fluid and relaxed and I don't know if the writing is getting better or I'm just getting used to the author's style, but I liked this one much better. Can't wait for the next!
review 2: So here'
... mores what I don't understand, Diamond has repeated not once, but on several occasions that she was raised in a MC so Knox can't scare nor bully her, but she is constant falling for him either sexually or allowing him to get the last word and have his way in everything. Seems to me that being raised around bikers didn't have any effect on her at all! She's still a fucking wimp...Then there's Winter's wedding, she originally refused to go, but because Lily pleaded with her, all of a sudden she had to be there? She had just met Lily like two minutes ago, why all the loyalty to her but not to Winter who was your actual client? Just be fucking honest, you just want to go because Knox is going to be there!I will admit that Knox's character did surprise me, throughout the series he was always painted as the hardcore one, at least when it came to sex, but he was actually quite sweet. I mean he really was into freaky, kinky shit but he was also considerate of Diamond's feelings, he didn't pressure her into anything and most importantly, he was totally faithful to her, despite his proclivity towards multiple partners. That showed that he really did care about her. What I didn't like was the fact that Diamond was so scared to lose Knox she was willing to even get on her knees and beg him to stay...by her own admission. No woman should have to degrade themselves like that for any man, I don't give a shit how much love is involved! Again, being raised around bikers didn't do jackshit for her self-esteem...I just love her sister and crew...those girls throw down and don't give a rat's ass who stands in their way! This book was more tame when it came to action than the previous two, it focused more on Diamond and her hangups, her relationship with her family and with Knox and we finally get to see put to rest the final mystery that was Sam and her baby. There was still a lot of sex but it was focused more on Diamond and Knox and less on the MC orgies, though those are still present and going strongly. Fidelity seems to be making a presence more and more in this series...that I like to see... less
