review 1: A nutty character!! But a great love story!! Jandy Nelson is a well read and informative person, I could guess that from the descriptions that were given. I had a great time reading the book but the character, what's wrong?? She writes anywhere and everywhere!! Just impractical!! Writing on the walls eh?? How would anyone allow others to write on their walls? The poems?? Re they even poems? I have my doubts. But anyway, the stotry was good and the story picked up only in the second part. Had a fun time and anyone who doesn't love romance please don't read it!!!!
review 2: This book is more than just a young adult novel. To me this book is heart-warming, heart-breaking, funny and sad all at the same time. This is a book that I would recommend to everyone and any... moreone, young or old, as this is an amazing novel.I bought this book in its paperback form on a family holiday in Wales 2011 as I was bored and I was on holiday with my grandparents, my mother and step-father, so lets face it, I was looking for something, anything to entertain me just for a while.Then I stumbled upon this book and after reading the blurb I thought, "Why not?" and I am so so glad that I thought that. I sat an read this book in a couple of hours, curled up in my bed under a blanket. I laughed, I cried and I smiled. This book is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone. less
