review 1: With sweet little rhymes readers will learn all about books. How they come in all sizes and shapes and can be read anywhere. There are only small bits of text on each page, so it is perfect for little ones with small attention spans. Also, there are lots of details and bits of contrast in each illustration which will keep readers looking at where all the books can be. Plus the message of books being perfect for “everywhere” will reinforce the idea to love books. This would be a great book to read in a baby or toddler story time as well as just before nap or bedtime (or anytime you want to cuddle with a little one). Such fun.
review 2: The glorious love of a tangible book - kindles may be dandy and convenient but this sweet book celebrates the physical book,
... more its supreme portability, adaptibility, funability (color me poetic license). I find real books comforting and I hope a book such as this and treks to book stores and libraries and the like will create more book lovers. Give your children the love of reading and books and you have given them a gift that will console them in sad, bad, and glad times. Admittedly, the librarian in me cringed a teensy bit when I saw them using a book as a fort and a door mat (maybe in your house but puh-leeze don't do that with my library books, folks) but all in all, a charming book with very appealing illustrations. less
